SPOILER : Chapter 23

.
.
.
.
.
.
I don't get it.    Nick leaves his house with an over night bag and he clearly isn't going to see Jeremy.    As expected, he is angry that Jeremy cancelled Nicks plan to come over and see him.    So he's heading over to see that guy again to get laid.

Then he tells Lauren that he is moving out of his parents house and is going to ask Jeremy if he can stay there?

yes, that is pretty much it.  Looking for a port in a storm.  Keynes wasn't there, he moved to the next port.

yes but David, David, David, never attribute to malice what can be explained by immaturity, beer, horniness, and inexperienced youth.

I feel sad and sorry for Nick and his obvious sadness and low self esteem but I really didn't like him having sex with Ray the lumber yard guy  :(

i feel sorry for nick and jeremy...everyone is in their business.. but nick has made some very bad choices this time..first the back room fiasco, and then the getting drunk in the bar..letting himself being drawn out by that asshole. lance, and then hitting jeeves.  im not sure that jeremy will go and help him as much as he hopes....            poor ellery now having to fix it ...   sure be glad when ennis gets that bone out of his ear...

Looks like Nick is guaranteed to get Jeremy's attention tonight after all. Maybe that was the plan!

:o Naughty Nick :o

What has that Nick got up to now
and will Dupree find out?
This new found friend
his heart will rend
despite his naughty pout

Nick’s so confused
He’s been abused
and now his brain is reeling
For Jeremy is no one-night stand
He’s got real class
and a wonderful ass
Is that Love he’s feeling?

Why won’t he just do what he’s told
Lie back and do the deed?
Just groan and moan
and groan some more
and let me take the lead?

Instead he’s setting down conditions
Dirty talk is out
And no more phone sex
while at work
Now what’s that all about?

With all these questions rushing round
and filling up his head
Nick gets drunk
pissed as a skunk
He hits poor Jeeves when in a funk
as he was seeing red

And that is not the only thing
He went and had a silly fling
and didn't know what for
He dropped his trousers
(sorry wowsers!)
Then cried out for more

No-one’s winning
Nick is spinning
right out of control
Will he ever find a way
to dig himself out of this hole?

In the meantime Jeremy
is feeling kind of lost
But until Nicholas finds himself
Dupree should keep legs firmly crossed!

okay gang.

this is IT for tonight, considering that TONIGHT is already TOMORROW:

http://louisev.livejournal.com/176113.html  "23:  Nick"

Well, I guess I have to say how grateful I am about your late night writing jags with all the sleepless nights I've had this week. At least I've got something to do that is interesting in the wee hours of the morning!

I was very upset with Nick and the lumberyard guy also!! But then I too realized that Nick is probably very confused about his life right now and really just went to what was familiar for him. Not that Jeremy is going to be any less upset about it though.

And yes I am one of those "delurkers" that Louise was talking about earlier. Been reading Laramie Sagas since June just never had time to be an active participant. Lots of time at 3:14 in the morning though. Please somebody send the sandman and SOON!  :'(
