Question on the stars
« on: December 08, 2006, 06:05:05 pm »
Hi,

certainly not a groundbreaking question, but I'm curious:

Why do the stars under a person's nickname and "status/rank" have different colours?

The "normal folks" all have yellow stars (please correct me if I'm wrong). The various moderators' and admins' stars have different colours: I've  seen green ones, reddish striped ones and since a couple of weeks lilac ones.
Is there any meaning behind the different coloures of the different mods?

Not really... just trying to find color schemes for the stars that fit the color schemes for the rest of the site.  Admins (John, Ellemeno and myself) are one color - and mods all share another color right now.  I might add some new stars next year to just shake things up.

Hi Kelda... it's April 1st, celebrated here as April Fool's Day, a day of whimsy and pranks.  A lot of us have changed handles and gotten ourselves into trouble here and there.  It's a one day affair, and things will get back to normal after the day is through!

no no! I disn't mean our usernames - it was when I was changing mine that i realised I was now classed as 100 post club and 'entry fee in my pocket'. Some othes like david (Indiana) is 'hunh?' as well as his mod and welcome wagon bit.

(I'm just being nosey and wondering what that means!!!)
