BBM in the wider world (in a good way)
« on: January 16, 2007, 01:56:16 am »
What started this off was on TV news tonight. Two NZ guys just got back from trying to walk to the South Pole and back. They had to give up when they got there, and were flown back, but it's still an impressive effort (a bit mad, though).

The TV presenter said

They got close, but not too close.

Clip of the guys, one arm on the other shoulder:
1 guy: No, it wasn't Brokeback Mountain.

Any other examples of BBM entering popular currency in a good way? (Remember we were worried about "Brokeback" taking over from "gay" to mean "lame"?)
