Say hello to the newest member of Chez Tremblay!

My new little puppy! Believe me, she is a Brokie at heart, she watched the entire movie with me last night and enjoyed every moment!

Her name is Roxy (not my choice, the family before named her), I'm thinking of calling her Swoff LOL, thought she needed something tough!

She is so beautiful!  I love dogs..Min-Pin's are VERY intelligent!  She's the same color as my Sassy.

that's right Vic! I forgot Sassy is a minpin as well! I never thought I would have a small dog, I've always loved big lab types, but I fell in love with this one the second I saw her.  She definitely is smart, and really fast  :o she's like a bullet when she runs, it's crazy!

well, she's a year so I'm not really sure if that is still considered a puppy or not... but she is full grown, only 10 pounds and won't get any bigger and I love it!   ;D

According to my vet their internal organs conitnue to mature until their about 18 months old so it's safe to say she's still a puppy and a very pretty girl she is too! :-* Scratch behind her ears and tell her that's from her cyber Aunt Vicki, LOL

My man very much wants us to get a dog. I'm dubious but I know it will bond him (my man) to the house and to me. Thing is, if I don't get a job, how will we pay for it, and if I do, when will we train it to get used to being alone?

Does Swoff mean something I should know?

No Sassy is a mini dachshund, same coloring as Roxy/Swoff. but she's heavier at 14 pounds ( doxies LOVE to eat)...But when the boys were little we had a minpin named Pilate he was a wonderful dog, smartest animal I ever met.
