Thanks Fran and Shasta fer taking the plunge . Janice - don't be 'fraid a the water - ain't no sharks in these parts!  ;)

Here's another view of the really tall yellow flowers. The leaves have nothing in common with daisies (Photo taken from above). Seems ta me threre were some doupbe bllom amongt em last year, but all a these look to be simple daisy-like petals

By the looks of the leaves, and the shape of the petals.  Those appear to be some kind of single layer chrysanthemum.

That's an illusion perpetrated by the flower bed borders. I got major weeds growing in the driveway and that first flowerbed's mostly unwanted grasses. Actually Bryan was here yesterday and tore down that bed. Moved the daylilies to the back yard, so it looks right empty now. Two down, one to go (the one on the right, along the neighbour's driveway's gonna get refurbished this summer too).

Kelda - you didn't vote - on which of the two pictures of the pale yellow lily you like the best! (posted earlier today)

As promised earlier, here's Bryan's very lovely photo of the yucca plants (on the left of the last picture).
