I know, I know! It looks more like wine red than black, but I've been complaining about the effect of the camera for months - everything always seems to come off more red than what the eye can see. but this is it - my (supposedly) black lilies!

Sorry to disappoint ...

Now this the same selection a lilies as the last picture. I ask you, does it still look like red wine colour or black? Hunh?

Well to me they're black lilies!

A couple a days ago, I took some 'bad-lighting' shots the first one I wanna share is a followup a this one:

(so you can place yourself in the garden, on the left are the soon-to-bloom Black Lilies, and on the right, the seed pods of the Maltese Cross)

Here's a pretty little flower growing on a very weedy plant. Believe it's called wandering jew

Flower's only half the size a the pinky's fingernail (you shoulda seen me laying down on the ground trying ta get just the right picture!)

I let this plant grow wherever it wants to, however, after a month or so, it's quite an ugly plant, but there's always another one growin somewhere else.

Very pretty. I have one plant that looks exactly like that and here it's called a balloon flower (platycodon grandiflorus). It looks interesting before it blooms, too.
