The back yard's been a pretty good show lately, even though there's a lotta yellow. with the chrisanthemum and this group a daylily. (photo taken 4 days ago)


Actually the front's putting up a decent show too, with daililies dominating (and providing a more varied array of colours.)

Here's another lily that made an appearance just before I left Toronto for Alberta. A starburst lily

AWESOME Starburst Lily...Sheriff  :) I have never seen one growing in a flower bed in a person's yard. Hope you are having a WONDERFUL time with the other Brokies in Alberta  :)

Awright - that's the last a my garden pics taken before my departure. Unless there's somethin unusual happenin in the yard, this thread's about ta become a retrospective a my Pilgramage - pics & all.

Got back after midnight this mornin - Fell asleep only after 3:30 AM !!

Went out about an hour ago ta see what the garden's produced in the past 10 days (a few small cucumbers, no red tomatoes!  :( )

And took just 4 pics. Here's the first a these ...

You learn somerthing new every day - I never knew that was how garlic grew... I guess I though it was a root of some sort.
