no punkins??

NO! I didn't try to grow any pumpkins - and if it is put out, it'll be just for the one night. Vandalism of innocent pumpkins have been a part of my past experiences (mostly on THE night)

Anywho... here's the left side of the front yard - looking as expected for late October, unkemp and near frozen over (it's suppose to freeze out there tonight.)

So ... Here it is .... an autumn picture taken from my front yard (next to the stoop) that I think is Desktop worthy. Been on my desktop since Saturday

The red leaves are from the english primrose (yellow flowers, way back in July),and the green ones in the foreground are from lillies of the valley.

Awww Roland, he's so sweet!!!!  Do racoons like to make their home in your roof like our possums do?  (By the way, our possums are nothing like your possums - ours are very cute and pretty.)

Had you not seen that view before? I'm sure I've posted a similar picture on this thread during the summer. & in the bar & grill, I posted (a long time ago) a similar picture showing one of the last blasts of the 2006-2007 winter. I'll be digging it out of photobucket later this evening.
