I missed your post because I was celebrating in the Rocky Mountains with 80 of my Brokie buddies this past week! I hope you have a chance to look at some of the pictures! While we were there, we watched BBM in high-definition! Wow, what a difference! The first thing I noticed was how lovingly scruffy Jack was when he first showed up and before he shaved. The contrast of scruffy Jack and clean-shaven Jack really emphasized how impressed he was with Ennis, don't you think? I'd be interested to know your impressions after watching the movie in high-def!!

I'm setting my sights on next summer for Italy. After watching the Giro, my men want to bicycle through Tuscany, while my daughter and I want to tour the islands, including yours!!

Hey there, David!  I think you expressed yourself very well in the letter to your teacher.  Did you ever hear back?  Sometimes, like Truman said, I'll ask people I meet if they've seen it - it provides a barometer, truly.  If the answer is 'No' you can tell a lot from body language and expression.  There's a big difference between 'No, I missed it,haven't got around to it.' and 'No effin way.'  ;).

I recently had two different experiences flying out to Denver.  Some people at airports are nosy, of course.  The first leg of the flight my seatmate did the perfunctory, 'Where are you going and why?' So I told him and he was completely fascinated - thought it fabulous - plans to see the movie eventually.  The next leg of the flight was completely different - nosy folks who sniffed at my answer.  But at least I didn't have to talk to them...got some sleep instead.  ::)

Great to see you around the board!  And you too, Luigi!!
