I've tried something new the other day: salted caramel in chocolate.
You know how over the last years those apparently non-fitting combinations of chocolate and hearty/hot components became ever more popular? Well, I've never been a fan of those. To me it looked like a lifestyle gag: look at me, I'm so cool, I eat chocolate with red pepper.
Now someone gave me a chocolate bar with salted caramel and what can I say? I love it! caramel with a clear side-taste of salt is great. Who would have thought.
