I remember being pleasantly surprised by Trick. It's not my favorite GLBT film of all time for sure... but I remember enjoying it. Lists like this one are fun. It's always interesting to see how people feel about any given list like this (and where things fall on the list).

I would put Fire, Gia, If these walls could talk, and Soldier's Girl ahead of The Incredibly True Adventure of Two Girls in Love any day.
In fact, I'd love to re-arrange the list a little.. :)

Shelter
USA , 2007 , 88 min.
Director: Jonah Markowitz Forced to give up his dreams of art school, Zach spends his days working a dead-end job and helping his needy sister care for her son. In his free time he surfs, draws and hangs out with his best friend, Gabe, who lives on the wealthy side of town.
I saw Shelter about a month ago. It was at an independent GLBT film festival.. I posted about it before. Its got its downs with the dead end job thing and the sister who does not have the responsibility to be raising a son. Zach, the main character in the show cares for the child mostly and meets a great guy to do stuff with. They surf and what not that leads to a more intimate relationship between the two. Its has a good ending. Good movie. I'd recommend it.
