Help with musical notation.

(1/2) > >>

Daniel:
I was wondering if someone could post a simple musical notation for the song "The Wings"... I am having difficulty picking it out on a keyboard. lol.

LauraGigs:
There is sheet music available.   http://www.amazon.com/Hal-Leonard-Picture-Brokeback-Mountain/dp/B000K67WH8/ref=sr_1_17/104-5818074-9542301?ie=UTF8&s=musical-instruments&qid=1182560847&sr=8-17

Off the top of my head, the melody (recorded version) is in G and goes:

B C D F—  E—  CC  B—

B C B A—  G— GG.

LauraGigs:
The chord progression is

G a G  d—  C—  aa G—

G a G d—  C—  GG.

David In Indy:
It's amazing how such a simple little song can be so beautiful.  :D

Daniel:
Thanks... Now to get to the work at hand... Translating the song into Solresol, which is fairly difficult because I don't have a full dictionary, but we'll see what I can do.

B / G (Thanks) C / a (but), D / G (our), F- / d-  (love), E- / C- (in order). CC / aa (to be someone). B- / G- (Thanks)

B / G (Thanks) C / a (but) B / G (Thanks), A- / d- (yours), G- / C- (selves). GG / GG (possible.)

Okay, well that didn't go anywhere. Either that, or I don't have enough information about Solresol. I would think that the words used would be short "Two-note words" but I just combined chord and note to create a two-note word.
