Actually, I was fortunate in this department, too. My husband is 6' even. I'm at the perfect height to rest my head comfortably on his shoulder when standing (or lying down, come to think of it ;D), but not so much smaller than he is that he seems to tower over me and make me look like a tiny little mini person.
According to the pediatrician's estimate when our son was two (and was 3'2" tall), he's going to be 6'4" when he's an adult. I'd better start talking up how cool taller girls are *now.* I'd say girls or guys, but he's already made it pretty clear who his early crushes are, and they're all girls who happen to be a little bit older (and taller).

We have one of those rulers on the door that you use to mark the kids' ages periodically. Two weeks ago (Easter) my niece was here so my (tall) son took her in to measure her against the gold standards of her two cousins. At 8, she is 4 inches taller than my son (the 6'3" son, my only one) was at the same age. I thought my sister was going to faint dead away.

LOL, I was looking for something on Striped Wall... and while scrolling through a million screencaps to find one particular thing... I passed by the reunion scene section. And, I thought I'd post this super adorable Jack pic. The way his face is all squished and smiley-looking is just too funny and cute for words.
