I saw Jake yesterday for the first time on the big screen in some time. The trailer for BROTHERS was shown before the screening of PUBLIC ENEMIES and I must say, I'd rather that trailer over P.E.! ;D BROTHERS looks like it has good potential. Jake looked great in a scrappy sorta way. He's got a beard in the film. I guess the facial hair is to hide features which might make it seem that he and Tobey aren't related.
So I'm looking forward to BROTHERS and glad it's trailer ran before a summer blockbuster.
I wouldn't want it to be buried under common attractions before some art house features. :D

I went and looked up the Brothers Trailer.
It's really meaty on content - it gives away nearly all the story! But very nice. My hopes are up. (And I'm retracting my comments that Tobey McGuire is too puppy-faced for his role. Here he looks gaunt, older, haunted....)
Seems to me that.... - spoiler!! -
......the US version is amping up the significance and not least content of the Jake and Natalie characters' relationship, and making that the main point of the older brother's subsequent breakdown, rather than mainly what happened to him in Afghanistan... Which may well make make sense if they changed the Afganistan events a bit in the first place. But after having seen this, I'm not sure they did.
