Is just amazing. It so reminds me of "nobody's business but ours."
Even this amount of comment from Jake is somehow extremely reassuring to me. It's important to be aware of how profound both the BBM experience was for Jake as well as the subsequent friendship with Heath. I don't think he needs, at all, to elaborate... but simply understanding how profound the whole thing is to him is somehow reassuring.

I'm glad to read of Jake's attitude toward his silence on Heath's death. It's pretty much what I thought (hoped) it would be. He was protecting Heath's privacy as much as his own.

Well put, and I feel the same way.
There was so much BS about Jake after Heath´s death. I hope Jake didn´t hear too much about it.

I've been re-reading a bunch of his comments in these recent interviews, and Jake just handles his comments beautifully I think. So, moving what he says about Brokeback, Heath and their friendship. Man, a lot of it makes me tear up. The fact that his sentences are often chopped-up and a little enigmatic when he talks about these things seems to underscore how difficult all this is for him.

That red carpet interview that caught him so off guard really does seem to have opened him up on this subject though... it seems like there are more and more interviews that keep coming out with the BBM/Heath content. Maybe he's at a point where it helps a little bit to talk things through.
