Newly single Jake Gyllenhaal did his best to beat the bitter cold on Friday in New York City.
The hunky actor was spotted hopping on a subway wearing a camouflage jacket, khaki pants, gloves and a beanie while waiting for the local train.
It looks like he's been keeping up with this New Year's resolutions despite the freezing temperatures though!
He was seen carrying a Nike gym bag while walking through the Big Apple.
It was recently reported that the 33-year-old split from model girlfriend, Alyssa Miller, after just six months of dating.
"They fizzled out," a source close to the former couple told Us earlier this month. "It happened a while ago—before the holidays. He's back on the scene."
"Things were really good between Jake and Alyssa right up until he had to leave for L.A. to go shoot a movie [Nightcrawler] in the fall," a second source said. "Then the distance just really got to them."
The Hollywood hunk has been filming Nightcrawler in L.A. recently. During filming a few months ago, Gyllenhaal opened up to E! News about losing "somewhere around 20 pounds" for the role.
