So sorry to hear this, Shasta. I was hoping they'd beat impossible odds. :(
You can take comfort in knowing that you did everything that was humanly possible to save them. They were just too young.

Thank you Fran. Yep--they didn't have their eyes open still. Poor little things. Each one was active and eating until just a little while before dying. They just needed a mama mouse, no doubt.

At first I thought you were talking about the mice - that all this time you thought that we were talking about fish.
To me that cloth looks like sort of googly-eyed bulgy goldfish and tiny squid. Maybe it could be a poll or sumpn. Might be fun. :) I'll post it on the banner, just say some little word.

I actually have a much clearer picture, where you can see what they are, that I was going to post here, but I will hold off on that.
I guess I was so taken with "Never Enough" that I didn't really look closely at what the things are.
