Isn't Oregon called the "Beaver State" Janice? This shows us how many trees are up there because beavers LOVE trees! :)
Whenever I think of Oregon, I always think of pine forests and mountains.

Yes it is. Green and blue, and where the storms from the pacific start. The very epitome of a green environment...lots of rain, and mild weather.
Underlying it all however, is the pacific rim. With the recumbant volcanos. Some dormant, some not. Some extinct. Such as crater lake. A lake formed in the caldera of an extinct volcano. My avatar is the most recent one to erupt. Mount St Helens.
