This is the quintessential Ennis for me. Love and lean, very young, vulnerable and scared. Heath portraying that is what sealed the deal for me. I don't do the heart trob thing but Heath (and Jake) is that constant reminder of what the story is to me. It isn't that matinee idol thing-he takes great pictures and not so great pictures, he has behaved badly, been misunderstood and been superbly wonderful. Philosophically I hate the whole Heathen/Gyllenhallic thing because it feels like a competition-the reason my avatar is, and will always be, both of them. And then I hate it more because we all know who wins the fanatics prize and I get sorry for the lovely Ledger because I don't think he gets his due. I am a champion of the underdog-especially one as talented as this.
I am a lover and appreciator of Gyllenhaal. I am a HEATHEN-bold and in caps.
