A Knight's Tale has a happy ending too, David.

And here's a bit of happy news:

Heath Ledger and Michelle Williams are getting married, it has been claimed.

2006-11-28 13:08:03 -

The Australian actor was spotted picking up a marriage license with his 26-year-old actress fiancé - who is the mother of his one-year-old daughter Matilda - in Brooklyn.

The pair met while they were filming gay cowboy film 'Brokeback Mountain' and recently bought a townhouse together in the New York district.

Representatives for the couple have refused to comment on wedding rumours.

Heath - who will play The Joker in the next Batman movie 'The Dark Knight' - has previously gushed about how grateful he is to have a family, saying Michelle and their child make him happier than being a movie star.

He said: "I'm incredibly grateful to be a successful actor, and it kind of blows me away sometimes.

"But it's actually less about waking up and thinking how lucky I am to have this family, right now.

"That, for me, blows my mind. A billion times more that anything else. It's like, everything else? Who gives a f***?

Great news about Heath and Michelle! Also, Casanova has a happy ending and shows Heath with expressions!!

I'm here to make a confession. And here amougst the Heathens is the place to do it I think.

Never really thought much about Heath until I saw BBM and was blown away by his performance (no Oscar - pah!). He'd never really caught my eye in anything else before this though.

Even after BBM I have to say that my eye was far more easily drawn to Jake, who with the dark hair/blue eyed thang going on is definately the type of chap to turn my head, and I've liked his performances in other things.

However, I've watched a couple of interviews with Heath, from links on various BBM sites, and I have to say he is certainly growing on me. He seems a very genuine, sensitive and emotionally intelligent young man. My interest is definately piqued.

Thank you for listening.

Karen,

Thank you. You are among friends, you can confess your deepest thoughts (and desires) to us. LOL

And contributing pictures, works too!

Maybe this will make Mr. Ledger grow on you a bit more...

"Candy" opens in Boston on Friday Dec 1, and Leslie and I are going!
Cologne be damned!

Notice the tatoos. And the tagline "more is never enough".
