When I was having lunch with Lovely Lynne and Treasure Truman the other day, I was telling them about my disappointment at Heath's words at the AFI Awards. Lynne said something really wise, that I want to retain, "We'll save ourselves a lot of disappointment if we can remember that Heath isn't Ennis and Jake isn't Jack."

Thats easier said than done.....Since seeing the boys in Brokeback, I have watched a few movies with each of them in them, but I'm still looking for mannerisms, smiles, hand movements, kisses, love making, and gestures, that are similar to those that Ennis and Jack made.
I saw "Proof" the other night, and the main thing about the movie I remember was the way Jake kissed Gwyneth, and the way his hand held her cheek as he kissed her......that to me is a Jack thing....and in "Candy", some of the expressions on Heaths face, and the shy half smiles....they were definately Ennis.

I've been trying to post this a couple of times and each time the Santa Heath pic distracts me so much that I don't manage to get any further! ;D
But here goes...... I happened to watch Batman Begins over the holidays, and I must admit that I wasn't all that impressed or even entertained. Especially not with the bad guys, who all seemed rather generic two-dimensional shallow and oddly-motivated comic villains to me. So now I'm having real doubts about that whole Joker role again, and how that'll come across.
