Thank you so much, Fern. It was extremely satisfying to see the words, "Directed by Heath Ledger." Though I had never seen these four words in a row before, they seem sooo right. :)

His most well-known role is probably as the young boy on the TV show "Third Rock From the Sun." His most well-known Heath-related role is in 10 Things I Hate About You, as the new kid who arrives at the school. He becomes romantically interested in one sister, while Heath goes after the other sister. So they are kind of brothers in law already. :)

According to my handy-dandy world time clock, it will be midnight in Perth, Australia (where Heath was born) in about 3 hours. So Heathens down under can start the birthday celebration 14 hours ahead of moi. How exciting! Folks in Asia will come on line next, followed by Europe, then me here in downeast Maine. Our west coasters will bring up the rear in fine style, I am sure.
Remember...your favorite picture of Heath. If someone has already posted your favorite picture, then go for your second favorite, or the one that was tied for first. Whatever. Let's try to mix it up with as much Heath goodness as we can.
Heath doing other things (ie, being Ennis) are perfectly acceptable, too.
Birthday cakes and greetings, flowers and all the rest, are also highly encouraged.
I have it from a reliable source that Heath lurks on the various boards. I don't know if Bettermost is included but maybe if he gets wind of this birthday celebration, he'll drop in for a visit. We can only hope!
