Thanks oilgun for posting this  :)

Mikaela:
Thanks yb, for posting the link to the real deal trailer. Wow, that looked good. Sent shivers down my spine!

And thanks Oilgun, for the link to the 6-minute scene. That really sent shivers down my spine too, but rather because it confirmed my earlier fears that I'm probably not going to like the film at all. The kind of sadistic horrible cruelty put on display in this (early?) scene - and just for entertainment purposes - makes me plain sad and nauseous. And if this is the start, I can only guess what the rest of the film will be like. *sigh* I will probably watch the film, because of Heath, but I am afraid that I may very much regret doing so.  :-\  :-\

Then again, and turning into a dirty lady for a second here - there were some pics over on ONTD yesterday from I'm not there - from Heath's nude scene, more specifically, and now I know I won't regret watching *that*!  :P

Strangely enough, it kind of turned me on   :-\ !   But only because it's Heath...

What is ONTD and why didn't you provide a link???!!! I want me some nekkid Heath!

Mikaela:
I used to be a big, big fan of Elijah Wood's  - his role in Sin City changed that. I thought it very sad and disappointing that anyone would gleefully play that kind of role, a role with no redeeming value, - and no message the movie had to convey at all -  just for "entertainment" purposes. A role that could only serve to accustom audiences to portrayals of sadistic cruelty "for the fun of it" and make them numb to the true horror of finding enjoyment in such depictions. Where's the entertainment in seeing sadism put on display?  :-\

Now I really fear my admiration for Heath is going to go the same way.  :-\

I know I'm one of very few people seeing it that way by now, everyone's so used to it - but I don't aim to see lots of this type of movie in order to get used to this kind of thing, ever.

My admiration for movie!Ennis will remain for ever, though.  :-*
