BelAir:
as a viewer (i.e. non-critical) I actually liked Richard Gere's part better than Cate's (ssshhhh... don't tell anyone)...
::)
I also thought Michelle was great in her part and I liked not knowing who her real life counterpart was (presuming of course that there is one)
I agree with you Mikaela, it did require some concentration!

Cate was great but I got tired of her scenes.

This was a film that pretty much invites, - yes downright requires - differing opinions and likes/dislikes - that's so great. :) :)
I'm still thrilled about it - and TBH I had not completely expected that, I feared it might feel too distant, disjointed and confusing to me being so ignorant about Bob Dylan's life. I can admit that now, when my fears were proven unfounded! :D
I tried to find a pic or two from the coffeshop scene, but googling gave me the same few pics over and over and none of that scene, so I'm resting content with this one, from a later scene w/ wife + baby and Robbie being pretty obnoxious in his opinions, especially in view of his wife's artistic merits...
Hope it's released on DVD asap so people can cap the interesting scenes in full detail!

Here you go, Mika...
