Although I find it a bit hm, uncommon to approach a grieving family so soon with such a request, I appreciate that he did ask for their approval first.
I use the word uncommon in a very neutral sense, there's no judgement involved. Heath's family gave their approval and that should say something.
Like Mikaela, I didn't realize it is such a big painting.
