Hey Anke! How are you coping?

*hug*

 :-* :-* :-*

Oh God, his hair, the look on his face, everything.... *sob*

mvansand76:
Oh God.

I just put my iPod on shuffle and what's the first song that came up?

Wuthering Heights by Kate Bush....

Out on the wiley, windy moors
We'd roll and fall in green.
You had a temper like my jealousy:
Too hot, too greedy.
How could you leave me,
When I needed to possess you?
I hated you. I loved you, too.

Bad dreams in the night.
They told me I was going to lose the fight,
Leave behind my wuthering, wuthering
Wuthering Heights.

Heathcliff, it's me--Cathy.
Come home. I'm so cold!
Let me in-a-your window.

Heathcliff, it's me--Cathy.
Come home. I'm so cold!
Let me in-a-your window.

Ooh, it gets dark! It gets lonely,
On the other side from you.
I pine a lot. I find the lot
Falls through without you.
I'm coming back, love.
Cruel Heathcliff, my one dream,
My only master.

Too long I roam in the night.
I'm coming back to his side, to put it right.
I'm coming home to wuthering, wuthering,
Wuthering Heights,

Heathcliff, it's me--Cathy.
Come home. I'm so cold!
Let me in-a-your window.

Heathcliff, it's me--Cathy.
Come home. I'm so cold!
Let me in-a-your window.

Ooh! Let me have it.
Let me grab your soul away.
Ooh! Let me have it.
Let me grab your soul away.
You know it's me--Cathy!

Heathcliff, it's me--Cathy.
Come home. I'm so cold!
Let me in-a-your window.

Heathcliff, it's me--Cathy.
Come home. I'm so cold!
Let me in-a-your window.

Heathcliff, it's me--Cathy.
Come home. I'm so cold!

(I've always wondered though: What on earth is going on in the picture in your sig line?)

Lol. I should have changed it a long time ago, but couldn't bring myself to it... That's the German opera singer Diana Damrau at her last performance ever as Queen of the Night in Mozart's Die Zauberflöte at the Metropolitan Opera in New York last November. She is admittedly one of the best coloratura sopranos of her generation, and she's from Bavaria.  :)

I have interviewed her a couple of years ago and have been a fan ever since. She is just a very lovely and ridiculously talented lady. We (me, my husband and little daughter) had the pleasure to see her at the Met as Pamina in November.

She was the first soprano ever to do both roles (Pamina and the Queen) in one production.

 :)

Oh dear, Melissa. How am I coping? Dunno. I guess I block out those thoughts most of the time. Otherwise I couldn't function at work. But I am in tears every time I read those threads... It's such a tragedy.

Thank you for explaining. I would never have guessed - she looks rather like Mefisto there, doesn't she? But now that I know, she does look a fitting Queen of the Night.

Oh, die Zauberflöte.... I've never seen it in RL  :-\ but I really, really want to. And seeing it at the Met - wow! That must have been a fantastic experience!  :)

But back on topic...

((Big hug)) to you!   :-* Hang in there.
