Penthesilea:
Good morning Heathens  :)

I loved how active this thread was yesterday, loved to read all your thoughts on a bittersweet day. And Kerry's photo of the sunset in Australia was so poingant. Thanks for the FB Marie, Mikaela and Leigh-Ann (hope I didn't forget someone).

Today this is for me, because of you...

I love it!  :D
It's great RouxB. I had the same idea. I wanted to get the band, and put stars on the inside instead of letters. For me, it would have been five stars, for the five members of my family. But in the end I chickened out on the wrist tattoo and decided for the shoulder (you've seen it).

Ellemeno:
Yay Roux!

I took a pic of Roux's wrist on the beach yesterday morning, pre-tattoo.  I'll upload that and more soon.

RouxB:

Chrissi In person my wrist tat looks quite a bit like yours-the lines are very fine and delicate. I need some touch-up done when it heals though. I am a trifle put out because I, of course, wanted it just like his. I had a million pics and views and yet it still isn't quite right. Oh well, nothing that can't be fixed. I did one star for Jake (blue) and the other for Heath-red because he wears alot of red. I wanted it to be striped but that would have looked too patriotic during wartime (and that just ain't me).

Chess Girl, I downloaded our pictures and just need your okay to post your lovely face.

RouxB:
I met TBFKA Ellemeno for breakfast at 8- I began to cry as soon as she wrapped me up in her arms. We just held each other for a bit both knowing what a bittersweet thing we were about to do. When we went to the counter to order, neither of us could remember His favorite breakfast (steak and eggs) so I had the pancakes and she had the omelette.
'
When we were done eating, we wrote out our eulogies/love letters and walked down to the water to present them.

Notice the stripes-even the restaurant was in on the action!
