Meryl, does New York put-up brass plaques on buildings where famous people were born/lived/passed away?

I've seen a few plaques here and there, mostly for historical figures like Roosevelt or Washington Irving.  It probably depends on the property owner wanting to put up something.  Maybe the Landmarks Commission has a committee, but I've never heard of it.  It's not very likely Heath will get a plaque, being so young and having lived in that building only a few months.  I'll keep an eye out for others.

We took your advice, Chrissi!  John, Jenny and I met for brunch this morning at Spring Street Natural, just around the corner from Heath's old digs.  Yummy, cheap(ish) food, nice atmosphere, and a bonafide Heath haunt.  It was great to catch up with Jenny, who broke the news that she's probably moving to Hawaii this summer.  How about we have the next BBQ on the beach at Waikiki?  ;D

We were belatedly celebrating Jenny's and my birthdays, and happily, today is John's birthday!  It's a gorgeous, sunny spring day here.  After brunch, we hung out by Heath's front door a bit before going our separate ways.  Hugs to all Heathens!  :-*

Aww Meryl, that's heartwarming. Thanks for sharing.  :-*
(I remember your and Jenny's b-day thread. But where's John's? Going to look for it later)

So probably Hawaii for Jenny. That's cool  8). I'm picturing a Brokie BBQ with people in Cowboyhats and Hawaii shirts on Waikiki beach   ;)

Good morning Heathens  :)
