I like the last one best, lol...

 ;)

Thanks so much for all the E! show reviews everyone!  I am so glad (and relieved) it's something I'll be able to watch, rather than something I'll have to avoid.

I posted a new [I think] TDK review on the Culture Tent thread.  An interesting tidbit about the Joker:

warning sort of spoilerish....

"his makeup, which looked like a slapdash effort from the start, steadily deteriorates, streaking, cracking and peeling away as the film progresses; it's an outward manifestation of his psychological spiral."

I'm also curious whether you guys would count that little tidbit as a spoiler or not?  (if so, I'll avoid in the future and delete that part of the post, if you'd recommend...)

Excellent find, mariez.  Thank you so much for posting it.

My favorite parts were reading about the trip to Mexico -- hell, yes, Heath's been to Mexico! -- and how, with his helmet on, Heath was able to zip in and out of the Masses' office building completely unrecognized.  It seems like he found an oasis in LA.

It was also comforting to read how the press apparently didn't know about Heath's connection to the Masses and stayed away, letting Heath's friends grieve in peace.

And as crazy as it may sound, I'm thinking that if we ever do another collection in Heath's name, we might want to consider sending a donation to the Masses to help keep that dream alive.

not a crazy idea at all...

I was sad to read that the estate elected not to participate any further...

Hey - great point about Mexico!
 :)

Ellemeno:
Just a reminder that we have a "no spoilers, please" TDK thread that BelAir started in The Culture Tent, and a "spoilers welcome" TDK thread that I started in The Heath Remembrance forum.

If you've seen TDK, and want to talk about it freely, you could post here.

If you haven't seen TDK yet, and you don't want to find out too much about the plot before seeing it, you could read and post here.

Having these two types of threads seems like a good solution for now.

:)

Lynne:
Hey there, Elle!  Will you save your TiVo'd E! Special for me?  I did not make any effort to see it and now I am remorseful.
