Tell ya what: for a good while, I thought TDK is named after the Joker :laugh:.
I thought the Joker character was meant with "dark knight", similar to Darth Vaider being the former Jedi-Knight who switched to the dark side.
I was a bit disappointed when I learned that Batman is actually TDK ::).
TDK was my first superhero movie ever, maybe that's an excuse for my ignorance ;D.

Oh, and my hubby thought the movie's title were "The Dark Night" and once signed an email to me with "[Dein] Licht des Tages (=[your] Light of the Day)". I was like WTF? because I didn't get the reference. :laugh:

Mikaela:
I haven't been in here in a little while, partly because it somehow makes me sad to see pictures re-posted that I've seen before, and knowing there'll never be any new ones.  :-\

But I should have known Chrissi would be on the case of getting us pics we (or at least I) haven't seen before!

The one with Heath and CB sitting there on the ready in their costumes while the crew is setting up the TDK interrogation scene is a *great* one!

And I really, truly, loved this pensive one;

I must admit though that TDK didn't grow on me - quite the opposite. I think it was an easily forgettable film, with many plot holes and more than a few irksome stereotypes, too many and too long car chases, too many and too loud explosions.... In hindsight, even the Joker paled pretty fast IMO. Except that whole Joker-as-nurse section of the film, which was totally utterly brilliant in all its hilarious slapsticky OTT mostly mime-acting.  I won't buy the DVD, I think - I'd rather re-watch one of Heath's better films. Unless there are a lot of behind-the-scenes type stuff with a lot of Heathy goodness on the DVD. Then I'll cave in soon enough.
