I love anything to do with Venice as it is where I was where I was the happiest I have ever been, and also Heath spoke often about the "holiday" making Casanova was.

All the BBM  behind scenes pics and the one where he is sat in front of a pool, all new ones for me and such a treat on a grey Sunday morning.

It was worth booting up this ancient computer just for the HHH thread, how could I have thought otherwise. Can't wait for my lap top to be fixed though

Ah, now this explains your absence here lately. I wondered where the hell you been!
A kaput laptop is bad - still better than coming upon a bear though. Hope it'll be fixed soon :).

Ding!Ding!Ding!Ding!Ding!Ding!Ding!Ding! :D

We have a winner. Paul is right: it's Gregor Jordan (not Neil), director of NK. And director of Two Hands!

Edit to add: He also was an actor in some episodes of "Home and Away". I don't know whether he knew Heath from H&A though. And Gregor Jordan also directed "Buffalo Soldiers" with Joaquin Phoenix, which I enjoyed very much, and which was filmed in my area :).

(And of course, obsessive freak that I am, I had to look up who Neil Jordan is, too ::). He's also a director, The Crying Game and Interview with the Vampire are among his movies)

Mikaela:
A pro pos Casanova: One of the local channels aired the film tonight. That's how come me staying up very late and posting long after midnight.

The film keeps growing on me - I've always liked it a whole honking lot, but it keeps getting better and more delightful upon repeat viewings. It's got a sweetly gracious and mellow tone to the crazy hi-jinks and fake identities that mocks noone and smiles or laughs along with everyone. The music is perfect. Heath's just so vibrant and adorable in it.... and most of the support cast are absolutely, sweetly hilarious. Especially Oliver Platt and Lena Olin and Omid Djalili's Lupo and the young lady that Casanova is about to marry. And the bad guys are all totally, ineptly fun. Plus, Venice is and remains gorgeous throughout. A pity that Sienna Miller and her film brother have as much charisma and comic timing and screen presence as two wooden planks here. If they'd been up to snuff, the film would have been recognized as a gem by one and all, IMO.

Penthesilea:
Good morning Heathens :)

I agree about Casanova, it's such a sweet and funny movie. I think vibrant is a good word to describe Heath in it. And I'm always amazed how young he looks in it when I think that it was made after BBM.
Speaking of Venice, two more pics from Venice today, but different context:

optom3:
OH !!

I have been on one of those water taxis, what a pity Heath was not in it as well !!!!

Yet more new photos to me, where do they all keep surfacing from, long may it continue
