Tell you what: I find this one simply tasteless.
There is a difference between being truthful, realistic or whatever you might call it and tastelessness. To me, this one crosses the line into the latter.

I just had a late lunch with my family, sitting around the kitchen table, chit-chatting about this and that, and having fun. Till "Shadow of the Day" from Linkin Park came on the radio.
Sh*t, it pretty much ruined the lightheartedness for me :(.

There are quite some songs that will never be the same again. This is one of them.

I'm a huge fan of Linkin Park, have all their CD's and DVD's.  But I never associated that song with Heath.  Must have been hard for you, though.

BTW, I love that pic of you on the train looking out at the mountains.  You were beautiful.  I stare at it, and wonder what you were thinking at that exact moment?

Long as we're temporarily on the subject of Linkin Park songs, this is the one that reminds me of Heath the most.  It always sounded to me like something he would have said to Michelle.
