Heath Heath Heath

I just watched "Angels in the Outfield," last night. It had Danny Glover as the coach of the Anaheim Angels. The story if you don't know it. Is about this kid that sees angels, and they help the team to go from the bottom of the league, to the finals in the division.
It was kind of cute, and very predictable, but the reason I kept watching it was; the kid was played By Joseph Gordon Levitt. He was probably only ten years old. If he was that. I just think he looks the same as now. Adorable little guy.
I had never seen it before. It just never appealed to me. I was only having the tv on in the background, as I was online, and listening to the radio. I happened to look up, and saw JGL. Of course then I had to watch it. I love him so
much. I think he is so talented. Even then he was great..
He is the closest thing to Heath we have these days.
Happy Heath's Birthday to all who loved him

Looking thru my Heath scrapbook, came across a 2008 article in Variety:
"After Ledger's death in January, his penultimate performance (with Terry Gilliam's "The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus" still to come) will be viewed with both tremendous excitement and unavoidable sadness. It's a tribute to Ledger's indelible work that he makes the viewer entirely forget the actor behind the cracked white makeup and blood-red rictus grin, so complete and frightening is his immersion in the role. With all due respect to the enjoyable camp buffoonery of past Jokers like Cesar Romero and Jack Nicholson, Ledger makes them look like -- well, clowns."

Happy Birthday Heath, I am sorry you never got to walk the streets of Provincetown in disguise.
