I sure wish we could see Heath in his mid-thirties up on the big screen, or directing a movie or whatever opportunities he would have chosen.

Sharing some pics I collected over the last year and am pretty sure I haven't posted earlier.

I recall it was also a Tuesday, in 2008.  I remember so clearly seeing the news on the BM banner that afternoon.

Last week, I came across The Queen's Gambit and remember hearing that Heath might direct it, with Ellen Page.  What a great film that could have been.  Heath surely would have found a way to convey the spirit and intensity of chess to non-players. 

So many "what ifs".  But I'm glad for what was.
