Yes. Let's!!  :D

What was the name of that song? It was from the 1970's. Something about partying all around the world.

Let's all grab a bottle of Old Rose and party until the sun comes up. Hell, let's keep partying even AFTER the sun comes up!

And let's all fall in love!

Did you know Cole Porter was a Hoosier?!! It's true!! He was from Peru, Indiana just a little bit north of me!  :D

Fabulous song! Just love it!   :D  Didn't Eartha Kitt sing it?  ???

As for the birds and bees thing, I'm with you, David. Never did understand what that was all about. Firm believer in calling a spade a shovel, me.  :-\   ;)   :)

I don't know Kerry, but Eartha sure did a good job singing Santa Baby, didn't she?

The song I'm thinking of is by the British group ELO (Electric Light Orchestra) I think. It is from the 1970's.

"Everybody all around the world, gotta tell you what I just heard
There's gonna be a party all over the world
I got a message on the radio, but where it came from I don't really know
And I heard these voices calling all over the world..."

 :D  :D  :D

Some friends named their pet cat, Eartha Kat. They recently had to take her to the vet. On arrival, they were asked the cat's name. When they responded, straight faced, "Eartha. Eartha Kat," apparently the receptionist had a great deal of difficulty retaining a professional demeanour! She lost the plot! Fits of laughter, apparently!
