Well, actually it means "The secrets of Brokeback Mountain", as "I segreti" is plural for "Il segreto" which stands for "The secret".
Curiously enough, in France the film was titled "Le secret de Brokeback Mountain", using the singular. That means, as it had already been posted in a thread on IMDB, in Italy we have more than a secret about this movie...

Thanks for clearing that up Luigi. I don't really speak italian but it's so close to Spanish, that I can understand it a bit.

Good suggestion TJ, though often translations with Babelfish come out as something very funny.
Anyway what I posted, more than an article, was a list of nominations ordered per category, with the winner at the end of each (in Italian winner translates as "vincitore" for males and "vincitrice" for females). Sorry that many foreign movies get completely different titles in Italian, and viceversa. As an example the Italian Oscar candidate movie was titled "La bestia nel cuore" which literally means "The beast in the heart", but in the US was released as "Don't say". Likewise, "Walk the line" was released in Italy as "Quando l'amore brucia l'anima", literally "When love burns your soul".
