I just finished The Kite Runner yesterday, having read it very slowly to savor every word.  What a moving story, so sad!   Khaled Hosseini has written a very special story.  I hope the movie lives up to my expectations. 

I do hope the studio reps were honest with the child actors and their parents about the more sensitive aspects of the film from the get-go, but maybe I'm being naive. 

So, has anyone seen the movie?
