Garycottle, that video not longer available?
Do you know why?
You singing in it?
Hugs!
jstephens9:
Of course you could carry a tune Gary even if it were in a bucket. That might start a whole new craze :)

When I heard that song "When I Get Where I'm Going" it was really strange cause I was driving to work and it was almost as if both Heath and Jackie were saying the words. In some way it almost seemed as if they were both telling me they were ok and that everything was ok. But I still cannot see any scene from Brokeback Mountain without it breaking me up immediately. It used to be that seeing any scenes did put a lump in my throat, but now it is much stronger, especially those of Ennis. And the music.....I cannot handle that. One scene in particular that used to have very litte effect on me was when Ennis and Alma are getting married. I used to just be sorry that it was happening cause I wanted him to be with Jack, but now it is a sad scene to me. Another scene that hits me much harder now is when Ennis and Alma are sledding down the hill and they turn over. That smile Ennis gives to Alma when he wipes the snow out of her face breaks me up now. And again it didn't used to cause I was wanting him to be doing that to Jack, not Alma.
Are any of the scenes different for any of you since the death of Heath?

I wish I could say something to comfort you Jack.
Just know I'm here if you wish to talk.

I have to quote these words from Rodney and Adam about Heath and Jackie in my own blog cause it means that much to me:
" HEATH LEDGER realized the vision of Ennis Del Mar and brought him to reality in the filmed version of Annie Proulx's short story. He had the courage and vision to accept and embrace this role, which many had turned down. Without Heath, there would be no Ennis Del Mar, and perhaps no film that reached millions with its message of love, compassion, equality, and acceptance for all.
JACKIE PASCARELLA carried the Brokeback message into our lives through her loving presence online, at gatherings nationwide, and through many personal correspondences. Her visions of peace and acceptance resonated in her perpetual smile, a warm heart expressive and open to anyone she met."
