Hiya BetterMost friends.
Happy Friday everyone, and a three day weekend!
I'm happy that I actually remembered to bring my "Super Cuts" gift certificate to work, and my laundry, so when they let us out of here early today (which I know they will) I can just jet over to to get the hair cut, and then to mom & dad's to get the laundry done.
:)
Tomorrow I need to get the shopping done for the meatballs, and to restock the candy at work, and then the rest of Saturday is making the meatballs and sauce.
Sunday is BBQ, and Monday is a rest day! :)

Happy Memorial Day everyone.
The BBQ yesterday was a lot of fun! Showed up at 1:00, helped the hostess finish setting up, and then the partied, music, drinks, and a ton of food.....sliders, hot dogs, ribs, chicken, corn-on-the-cob, meatballs, sausage & peppers, salads, cake.
It was so good to catch up with friends and have fun.
Today I have another BBQ, and I was asked to bring dessert, so I'm going to get a dozen cannoli, and some cookies. I was going to bring some of the leftover meatballs from last night, but there were none. :)

I don't get the point of sliders. I mean, aren't they just little hamburgers? ???

My thoughts exactly. They're nice at a restaurant, when you aren't hungry want just a small bite to eat. And especially knowing American portion sizes, lol! But at home? Too much work, too little effect. You need tons of them.
They are cute however. I guess that's why they became popular. :)
