The Sound of Music is on my itinerary for Vienna. Not my choice but that is what is on. I will be seeing Fiddler on the Roof, they call it Anatevka, the night before.
For the Sound of Music I am in the very front row so will not be able to see the English surtitles above the stage but doubt I will need them. Should be interesting to hear in German. Actually I have only seen the stage version in English once and there are a few differences from the movie.

this one is pretty timely.  I've been hearing stories about parents shaming their kids online, and the kids are so embarrassed they go an kill themselves.

Shaming them over what?

How can a parent do something like that?   >:(

Well, I have to say, I can't remember the last time I ate a cadbury egg.  They're not bad, but I wouldn't have more than one, they taste so sweet, it's almost off-putting.

Bowling night tonight, and the season is almost over, we bowl until the middle of May (about) so that year end is coming quick.  :)

There have been some stories of parents shaming their kids oline.

The most famous,  took place not long ago.  It was a video of a 13 year old girl with long hair.  She had been  warned twice by her father not to 'do something'  (it's not clear on the video).  Turns out she had done whatever she had been warned not to do, two times.

The father put her in the kitchen, and while he filmed her, took clippers to her hair, chopping the most  of it off, carelessly so that the ends were ragged and messy.  The video was then  posted on YouTube for everyone to see.

she went  to school the next day was was teased mercilessly.  She went to teachers, who tried to fix it, but were unable to do so.

She left school walked over a bridge, and jumped off it, killing herself.
