I don't know for sure, but I would doubt there's a law against chopping your daughter's hair, recording it and putting it on YouTube -- however cruelly -- so probably not.
But unless the father's even more of a monster than he seems (it's quite possible he loved his daughter, however twisted his methods of discipline), his punishment will be to spend the rest of his life feeling the loss and regret and torturous guilt.

True, but it's also likely he'll blame it all on the "friends" in school. "Hadn't they teased her, she would still be alive". Takes the blame off himself.

everyone at work today is at some sort of "breakfast meeting" and won't be in the office until none. I'm fine with that!

Hooray! We made it to Friday!!!
Work was actually on the slow side today, so I managed to get caught up on a bunch of stuff. Very happy about that.
My supervisor came in with the baby this week, he's a little sweetie pie, and she told us she'd be back to work just before Memorial Day, so I'm planning to take Tues and Wednesday after off as well, for an extended weekend.
