The only orchids I've had contact with were in corsages. I've also heard they're tricky, but I wouldn't be surprised if the trickiness varies from one variety to another.
I'm sure there's tons of stuff out there on the Internet, but I think I'd maybe consult with a florist?

Have been doing some online "window shopping", found some new end tables I want, and the counter top dishwasher I've been looking for. I'm thinking I will order them next weekend, and then pick them up at the store when they arrive.
