Hurrah! The new computer is up and running! :)

Well, it's been quite the story with the computer!

the new comp was set up on Friday evening, he stopped by at 5:30 and was done by 7:15. Then, I had to go and pick up the groceries I had ordered online.
I got back and signed on, and I couldn't get into a different forum, it wasn't recognizing my password.
Suddenly, at 9:30, I had lost internet access. I texted techie back, and he talked me through some instructions that helped. However, at 11:30 my access cut off again. It seems that the wireless USB adapter he had given me for the comp was shot, and I couldn't get in. Given the hour of the night, I just opted to shut down and go to bed.
Luckily he had told me to order a different adapter on Amazon, that would be stronger. I did that before I lost my connection, and it was to be delivered on Sunday afternoon.
I texted techie to let him know what happened, and he offered to give me another USB adapter, and dropped it off for me today (Saturday) at my mom and dad's place, since that's where I would be for the day.
When I got home, the one from Amazon was waiting for me, a day early. Now I'll keep his as a spare, in case it's needed.
Everything now seems to be in working order.
