As you all know, I always wonder what all those people who hate changing the clocks will say when they realize their children or grandchildren have to go to school in the dark in December and January.  :-*

On this latitude (southern Sweden), that's always been the case.

We always go to school/work and come home in the dark for 3-4 months a year. Further up north for several more months.

As I always say, I'm perfectly content with the way things are because I don't like the idea of sunrise around 4:30 a.m. around the beginning of summer and after 8 a.m. around the beginning of winter.

There must be something wrong with me because I really can't comprehend how people would be happy with that.

But it's also true that I'm a night person. If I'm still awake at 2 a.m., I would prefer not to have the sun rise two hours later.  ;D

I understand someone has recently introduced a bill to the U.S. House of Representatives to keep the country on DST.

If you don't like the difference in light between summer and winter, maybe you should consider moving further south?  ;D
