Happy Labor Day weekend!

I've had a good weekend so far. Was able to shut down on time on Friday night, spent Saturday relaxing, went shopping for new bowling equipment on Sunday, and relaxing today. I also took Tuesday off work for an extra day, and have a follow-up appointment with a doctor.
Tuesday night bowling starts again, it will be good to see everyone.

It was more than my wildest imaginings, friend. People were willing to pay more than I would have ever asked for stuff that I would have trouble giving away and probably Goodwill would not take. Added to that, the buyers have to come to pick their items up during a short window of time and do their own packing and transporting. Even though some of the heavy large furniture fetched less than $100 I'm still ahead because I would have had to pay junk haulers to pick it up and dispose of it, not counting adding to the footprint of stuff in landfills. I'm really happy with the results; it was worth paying 45% to the liquidators.
