Hiya BetterMost friends!!!!

Wow!  I've had a couple of very busy days lately!

Friday night was dinner with the brokies, as you know.

On Saturday, I was at an all day BBQ with some of my cousins.  One of them is moving to North Carolina, and it was her good bye party.  I didn't get home to bed until about 2am.

I slept in today, and then when I signed onto my computer, I got a call from my friend Corrine.  In a very last minute surprise, she got a call from the Democrat headquarters by us.  She offered to canvass the local area to drum up support for Barrack Obama, and she asked me along.

So from 2 to 6, we walked around goinig door to door to ask if people were supporting Obama or McCain.  We got a lot of positive responses.  One man even told us he had taken off Election Day (Nov. 4th) and would be willing to drive voters who had no transportation back and forth to the pols, to make sure the vote gets out.

Well, that sounds like a very productive weekend Chucky.

I forgot it was a holiday over there for you today......the best thing about going back to work after a holiday Monday, is that you only have four days until the following weekend.

Loved all the pics you posted over on the NYC thread. Great bunch of people.

Do you live near NYC Chucky?
