having fun, today was spent at the Thames Festival with a carnival and my friends Wayne, Sal, and Nick!

Just finished a bowl of porriage with fresh berries and tea in bed. ;D
Time for a shower, and then a walking and bus tour around London. Very happy!!
Oh, btw, I printed out addresses to send out postcards, and then left them home. ::)
So there will be no postcards from this trip! Sorry!!! LOL :laugh:

I was in the Thames Festival area until about 12.30 but then went and visited Her Maj. Toured the State Apartments which are only open for 8 weeks each year. Had lunch (about 3pm) of Salmon and cream cheese bagel on the lawns of Buckingham Palace. Unfortunately the Queen and her family are in Balmoral so missed me. ;D
Today I trained it north to the Lakes District where it is currently pouring. As I am way up in the garret under the slate roof it is very cosy at the moment but I hope it stops tomorrow morning as I want to go walking. I believe this weather is headed for London but perhaps you will leave for Rome before it arrives. Give my regards to Wayne, assuming it is the same Wayne I met in Helsinki in 2008.
