How is everyone today?  got any good plans for the upcoming weekend?

I'm putting my car in the shop, time for the oil change and any extra work (trans fluid, anti-freeze) that needs to be done for the upcoming winter.

Oh, my Chirstmas club check arrived yesterday, and it's in the checking account now...I'm $1,500.00 richer.

;D

Mandy21:
Getting richer, and it's not even payday?  Pretty cool, Chuck!

Plans for weekend, you ask?  I have a date tonight with a single man I've known for 10 years, dark and quiet and mysterious, hell-of-a-good kisser, then tomorrow night I have a date with my across-the-street neighbor who's going to drive over to my driveway to pick me up in his new car (how cute is that?), then Saturday late afternoon, I have a picnic in a park planned with my oldest boyfriend, the one I love the best.

Later this month, I'm thinking about taking off to go back to Kansas.  Had a rather distressing phone call yesterday from my deceased mom's oldest high-school friend.  Sounded like she needed my help, so hey-ho, what's a 350-mile drive between friends?  Ought to just buy a house over there.  Would be cheaper than the hotel costs over the years.

And you?  Any more match.com dalliances lined up?  I can't wait for you to find someone special.  You, more than anyone I know, deserve love.

Not at the moment, but sometimes these things take a while......and with some travels for me and the holidays coming up, it will be hard to schedule a dalliance!

But that doesn't mean I won't try!

As for love, everyone deserves it, and I have it in my life, just not the romantic variety.  But it will come.  ;D

Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay!  It's Friday!

Today all of the relationship managers are out of the office at an event, which means it will be very quiet.  ;D

People in my position couldn't go to the event, because someone has to be here to do the daily work.  To make up for it, we're getting a pizza lunch today.  Works for me.  Free lunch and the people who make me work are out of the office.

;D

Oh, and it's pay day!

No earth shattering plans this weekend, other than to get the car taken care of for a drive I am making next weekend.

Tonight will be a TV night.

AMC’s new series, The Walking Dead, has become the most successful series debut in the network’s short history of producing original programming.  Mad Men and Breaking Bad might be winning awards left and right, as well as captivating the hearts and minds of critics, but they’re nothing when compared to a brain-hungry undead monster.  The Walking Dead scored 8.1 million viewers on Saturday night, scoring the best ratings ever for an AMC original series.
