The witchetty grub (also spelled witchety grub or witjuti grub[1]) is a term used in Australia for the large, white, wood-eating larvae of several moths. Particularly it applies to the larva of the cossid moth Endoxyla leucomochla, which feeds on the roots of the Witchetty bush (named after the grubs) that is found in central Australia.[2] The term may also apply to larvae of other cossid moths, ghost moths (Hepialidae), and longhorn beetles (Cerambycidae). The term is used mainly when the larvae are being considered as food. The grub is the most important insect food of the desert and was a staple in the diets of Aboriginal women and children.

Thanks Brian!
No wonder my online dictionary didn't know about it.

I would've sent some over for Chuck, but thought they were probably a prohibited import !
They wouldn't even let me take a decent size jar of Vegemite into the US in hand luggage, 'tho that's quite understandable. ;D
Hey, Brian, thanks for your elucidation. I'm not very good at proper descriptions, and probably should attach photos of Ozzie things. :)

Already ? That's great, Chuck. Must have been a bit quicker due to the time difference. :)

Hiya BetterMost friends.
I hope that everyone is doing well!
In regards to all the grub talk here, y'all can keep your grubs, I don't need them here.
Ugh! :P :-X
Work is going smoothly, and I'm spending some time writing out cards for my coworkers, to leave in their cubicles. I hope to give them out tomorrow morning before everyone arrives, so they can find them when they arrive.
I'll have 5 cards to spare, and every card has been a cowboy Christmas card.
