Totally unrelated to your current blizzardy photos but I just wanted to say that I love that truck in your first post. It reminds me of my grandad :)
Be careful in all that snow!

Hiya BetterMost friends.
Today has been crazy!
I got up at 5:30 am and called our 800 phone number for weather emergencies. According to them, there were no closings, and no delayed openings. Geeez.
I put on my clothes and spent an hour shoveling my driveway and sidewalk in order to leave. I put my car into 4 wheel drive, and off I went.
The usual 20-25 minute drive to work became a 60 minute drive. Along the way I passed well over a dozen abandoned cars, and one flipped over trailer truck. After I arrived by my job, I found the street was blocked by 2 cars who were stuck in the snow. After about 5 mintues, they got themselves unstuck and I got to my office building to find the parking lot had not been plowed, so I had nowhere to park.
I went and parked in the lot of the building next door, and walked through thigh-high snow to get to my office building.
The plows have shown up now, and are working on our lot.

Nope!
Shovel and muscle! ;D

Chuck, with your energy and great work ethic, you'd make a good farmer. Those cows would be milked by 6:00 am and no mistake! ;D
Thanks for the report. I'm wrapped in a blanket at home as I type. I've got a ticket to "La Fanciulla del West" at the Met tonight, but I don't have to brave the wind and snow til then. 8)
